Carolyn was admitted to practice in 1996 while working at the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Judges' Associate. Prior to joining the Competition and Regulatory Group at Minter Ellison in April 2002, Carolyn had worked for the Crown Solicitors' Office (SA) since 1997.
Carolyn advises on public law issues in commercial contexts and regulatory design. She has had extensive experience advising government and private sector clients on a range of regulatory, legislative reform, administrative law, constitutional and commercial issues.
Carolyn is also a specialist in energy regulation and has advised governments and participants in the gas and electricity industries in relation to regulatory obligations and regulatory reform. Carolyn has advised on wind and solar generation projects and on the installation of distributed generation (co-generation and tri-generation). Carolyn also advises on carbon geosequestration.
