Peter Batchelor is the Minister for Energy & Resources and Minister for Community Development in the Brumby Government of Victoria.
 
He has been the member for the Thomastown electorate since 1990.
 
Prior to being elected to Parliament, he was the Victorian Secretary of the Australian Labor Party from 1983 - 1990.
