Jessie Davey
Principal Geologist, Manager 3D-GEOthermal
3D-Geo Pty Ltd

Jess completed her studies at the University of Adelaide, where she studied a range of sciences and engineering focusing on geology, environmental sciences and active earth processes. For her PhD she worked on the integration of active, surface and subsurface geology to construct structural models of intracontinental interiors.

Jess has worked on the active volcanic belts in east Papua New Guinea, monitoring stress variations and geodic landscape studies. She has also worked throughout Uzbekistan and Argentina establishing micro-seismic monitoring networks and throughout the Middle East using seismic to detect ordinance. She has worked on geothermal projects in the Cooper-Eromanga, Perth, Otway and Gippsland Basins in Australia, the Rajasthan Province in India, Baluchistan in Pakistan and throughout the Atacama Desert in Chile.

Since joining 3D-GEO, Jess has been working on developing 3D-modelling techniques to enhance the understanding of subsurface geothermal prospects, and ways of developing accurate thermal modelling techniques.
