Rick Watsford joined Range River Gold in November 2007 as Managing director and CEO. Prior to joining Range Rick was Chief Operating Officer of CBH Resources Ltd following senior management roles in WMC Resources Limited in the Nickel Division and at Olympic Dam.
Rick has had extensive experience in gold, base metals and industrial minerals in Australia, North America and South East Asia.
Since joining Range his focus has been on developing the capability of the Company as a developer and producer of gold and base metals by recruiting management and engaging a consulting team to deliver first class acquisition, development and operating skills. This has resulted in Range acquiring, developing and bringing into production the Mt Morgans Operation in Western Australia.
In parallel to the development of Mt Morgans Rick has continued the growth focus of the Company by engaging a small team on the review of acquisition opportunities.
